We are not accepting any hosting referrals at present (December 2020) because of the Pandemic. This is to ensure the health and safety of our valued hosting volunteers. This will be reviewed if and when the Public Health situation improves in 2021.
During “normal” times we would usually accept referrals from voluntary organisations working with migrants in danger of destitution based in the West Midlands Conurbation( Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall, Wolverhampton). We have stopped taking referrals from Local Authority NRPF teams.
For those seeking accommodation, please be aware that we receive far more referrals than we are able to accept and places rarely become available. Please email Birchnetwork@gmail.com before making a referral to check availability or contact David@birchnetwork.org
If you are working with a young asylum seeker or refugee between the ages of 16-25 who would benefit from the support of the Family Befriending Project. We are currently because of restrictions brought about by the Covid19 Pandemic. Please check Joy@birchnetwork.org before filling out the referral form. Birch YOUNG PERSON Referral Form 2018.
